Design options
French doors and screens can be manufactured in a wide range of designs, sizes, materials and finishing options to suit traditional or contemporary homes. Along with different panel designs, doors can be tailored with stylish mouldings and glazing bars to achieve the required look. Part Q compliant French Doors can also be supplied to meet building regulations and come with secure espagnolette locks for improved security.
Where the aperture is particularly wide, side screens can be supplied either side to allow the maximum amount of light to enter the property, whilst proving stunning views of the garden. Salisbury Joinery can also sculpture the door shape, for example, to fit an archway.
Our French doors are fitted with thermal-efficient double-glazed units and weather strips for all-year performance. A range of glazing options is available to suit any property.
Timber and finishing options
To ensure the strength and durability of your doors we recommend the use of hardwoods such as Sapele or Accoya in their construction. Doors are supplied either fully finished in any RAL colour using our three-coat microporous paint system or white primed for painting on site.
French doors come with toughened double glazing and multipoint espagnolette locks as standard, along with ironmongery configured to suit the desired operation. Door handles are also available in a wide range of styles and finishes to complement the door design.

Our French doors come with a comprehensive 5-year warranty covering the door, frame, surface treatment, ironmongery, weather seals and double glazing. All doors are built to exacting standards, CE marked and meet and exceed the requirements of BS EN 1435-1:2006 + A1:2010.
