A Proud Heritage: The Story of Salisbury Joinery
At Salisbury Joinery, our journey spans five decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and family legacy. What started as a...
At Salisbury Joinery, we’re proud to offer Fineo Glass as part of our bespoke joinery and glazing solutions. Whether you’re renovating a listed property or upgrading period-style windows, Fineo offers cutting-edge performance with the character of traditional glazing.
Fineo glass is an ultra-slim vacuum-insulated glazing (VIG) product that delivers the thermal performance of triple glazing — in a unit just 6.7mm thick. It’s ideal for heritage and conservation projects where retaining original aesthetics is crucial but energy efficiency and comfort cannot be compromised.
Unlike double glazing, Fineo uses vacuum technology rather than gas fillings, which eliminates the need for bulky cavity spacing. The result is crystal-clear, highly efficient glass that can be fitted into traditional sash windows, casements, and bespoke timber frames — without altering the original look.
Fineo Glass combines the timeless appearance of single glazing with the performance of modern triple glazing — making it the ideal choice for period properties and conservation projects. It is the only vacuum glazing manufactured in Europe, ensuring exceptional quality, shorter supply chains, and greater sustainability. Plus, it’s backed by a 20-year warranty, giving you long-lasting confidence in your investment.
Ultra-Slim Profile (7.7mm)
As thin as traditional single glazing, Fineo fits where conventional double or triple glazing cannot.
Outstanding Thermal Performance
Delivers the warmth and efficiency of triple glazing, with an impressive U-value of just 0.7 W/m²K.
Enhanced Comfort
Keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, improving year-round indoor comfort.
Reduced Noise Levels
Significantly cuts down external noise, helping create a quieter, more peaceful living environment.

"A few weeks ago you completed the installation for us here in Shamley Green of a new oak staircase. This staircase had been designed and manufactured by your joinery team to suit our requirements. To that end you had surveyed the site, arranged timescale for delivery and the installation on site by your recommended carpenters. We wanted you to know how pleased we are the result and with all communications with your staff."
