For durability and low maintenance, external wooden doors and frames are typically built with quality hardwoods such as Sapele or Accoya and tailored to the style of the property, with practically any combination of panels, boards or glazing panes. Designed for new residential properties where Part Q building regulations compliance is required or traditional homes where a higher level of security is required, our Part Q external doors and frames are manufactured to PAS24 security standards and come with secure espagnolette locks and energy-efficient toughened 4-16-4 double-glazed units as standard.
Built from quality hardwood and available in a range of solid or glazed panel designs, doors are 58mm thick and come with draught excluders, water bar and weatherboard for improved weather protection. Standard non-Part Q doors are also available for properties not affected by planning constraints.
Suited to renovation projects where it is important to retain the properties original character and appearance, such as traditional town or country properties in conservation areas, or for new developments where a traditional look is required, doors from our Conservation range are available in any combination of timber panels, boards and panes with elegant frame sections 48mm thick and full glazing bars.
Slimline double-glazing provides much improved energy efficiency whilst delivering a traditional style and appearance for glazed doors. Conservation doors are manufactured from quality hardwood and supplied primed or factory finished to any RAL colour with a range of ironmongery to suit.
Designed as replacement doors for listed properties or homes in conservation areas protected by planning approval constraints, our heritage doors are available in any combination of panels, boards and panes to closely replicate the design of original joinery. Doors are typically 48mm thick with single glazing, full glazing bars and an external putty bead for an authentic appearance.
Typically, our heritage doors are hand-crafted from Sapele or Accoya and supplied primed or factory finished to any RAL colour along with a choice of heritage style ironmongery to suit.
Our external doors are built to exacting standards by our experienced joinery team and meet the requirements of British Standard BS EN 1435-1:2006 + A1:2010. Salisbury Joinery holds the Silver CMS mark which ensures we are regularly audited for our production standards and all doors are CE marked.
Doors are supplied primed or fully finished using our three-coat microporous paint system and typically factory fitted with glazing along with espagnolette locks to ensure high levels of security. A 5-year comprehensive warranty covering the door, frame, surface treatment, ironmongery, weather seals and double-glazing units provides further piece of mind.
