Salisbury Joinery were chosen to supply bespoke windows and doors for a development of two detached high-end residential properties in Ealing.

Designed by leading architects to blend perfectly with the existing Victorian street architecture, these impressive two-story six-bedroom homes were constructed for leading London based property developers who specialise in new build and refurbishment projects. Extending to 340sq.metres the properties exude quality and character throughout, exemplified by the custom external joinery crafted by Salisbury Joinery.

Timber Windows

20  box sash windows of various sizes were supplied for each property, 17 single and three triple, all of which were constructed in hardwood. To provide high levels of security all windows were built to certified PAS24 standards, complete with secure espagnolette locks and a reinforced construction. 

Set in ornamental brickwork these windows suit the architectural design perfectly; the 58mm sashes being rebated for 24mm double-glazing with face-applied glazing bars.

The windows to the second home were factory finished in RAL7015 Slate Grey, using our three-coat micro-porous paint system, whilst plot one received joinery in pure white satin.

An additional 3 off casement windows in hardwood were supplied for the second story dormers, one of which extends to a width of 2260mm with two open out casements. All windows were fitted with lacquered polished brass ironmongery and Pilkington 4-16-4mm double glazing with spacers, offering excellent energy efficiency.

External Doors
We crafted four hardwood doors and frames for each property. The double-glazed main entrance doors are of a traditional design with raised and fielded panel, complemented by side lights of the same design and an overhead three pane fan light. Paint finished and installed under a glorious cut brick arch with white painted keystone, the doors make an impressive entrance. To the rear elevation we supplied French doors and side panels in hardwood, the largest of which extends to a width of 3559mm.
