After years of community use, in 2020 the local council approved ambitious plans to convert the building into 17 new apartments.  Working with leading building contractors, the building was carefully renovated to retain its historical character, whilst an additional contemporary floor was added to the roof to extend available space.  The result is a proud mix of historic and modern architecture, local craftmanship and an enhancement of the local area facilitating much needed housing stock. **Sash Windows** We supplied the twenty-two [sash windows](https://www.salisburyjoinery.com/sash-windows) with modern spring balance operation for the ground floor. Being 2185mm high they allow a lot of natural light to brighten the apartments.
