Bespoke Curved Staircase

Salisbury Joinery was delighted to manufacture two bespoke staircases for a prestigious residential property in a secluded village location near the sought-after town of Redhill, Surrey. 

The new staircases were specified alongside other major renovations of this substantial country property. As specialists in the manufacture of bespoke staircases for over 40 years, our design and build expertise was of great benefit to the architect, who we worked closely with on this project. Once a design had been agreed we completed a survey before our experienced joinery team began construction at our Salisbury workshops.

 

A Stunning Feature

The curved timber staircases, from our Salisbury range, are a stunning feature of the property and make a huge impression as visitors arrive in the entrance hall. The sweeping curves accentuated by the continuous handrail provide an elegant transition from the ground to second floor, adding greatly to the luxury feel of this home.

A flight of sophistication

Constructed with Oak treads and Tulip risers, along with Cut and mitred outer string with Tulip facing, the natural warmth of the timber shines through. The continuous oak handrail is set on a bespoke 16 x 16mm square loop design with patterned metal spindles adding to the sophistication and elegance of the home. The landing return balustrades and aprons were also supplied to complete the job.

Salisbury Joinery also manufactured the new entrance door in Oak with sidelights and frosted glazing. Installation of all the joinery was arranged to meet the project requirements, leading to a fully satisfied client and we're are delighted to have supported this characterful project.
