NEW BUILD, HAMPSHIRE
SASH AND CASEMENT WINDOWS, DOORS, STAIRCASE
Salisbury Joinery manufactured bespoke timber windows, doors and a two story central staircase for a new character property, built in a delightful village location near Basingstoke, Hampshire.
A plot for the home was created by the clients dividing their garden and the architects designed the home to sit well with the mature surroundings. Working closely with Fowler Architecture and Planning, we tailored the joinery to perfectly match the traditional design of the property with box sash windows, casement windows and panelled doors, which help give this home a timeless quality.
Box sash windows and casement windows from our Traditional range were chosen, which combine attractive looks with high performance operation. The high-quality construction features 24mm double glazing providing excellent energy efficiency and all-year-round weather protection; a high desirable feature for any home.
Extensive Joinery Package
Traditional box sash windows were supplied in a range of sizes including triple sashes to both elevations. Featuring an ovolo internal mould, weights and cords operation and faced applied Georgian style glazing bars, these windows add a lot of character to the property. Additionally, we supplied casement windows in a matching style, including a Dormer window for the second floor.
The main entrance door was designed in a classic 4 panel configuration with flat panels and an external mould. The door was fitted with chrome ironmongery and finished in light blue, contrasting nicely with the factory finished white windows.
A central staircase was also supplied by Salisbury Joinery for the property, helping the builders to maximise project efficiency through single source joinery provision.
