Part Q of the Building Regulations relates to the technical content, and its implementation, of The Building Regulations 2010 (England): Security of Dwellings and Unauthorised access. It came into force in October 2015.
This regulation makes it mandatory that easily accessible windows and doors fitted to new residential properties or properties being converted to residential use, must be manufactured to PAS24 or an equivalent security standard.
Salisbury Joinery is delighted to have a range of windows and doors tested to PAS24 in compliance with Part Q; details of these ranges are available from our Product Specification Guide and Architects Pack, or alternatively contact our customer service team for drawings and product information.
